Who is Kneitz?

KNEITZ is an Austrian premium manufacturer for velour and flat-woven fabrics, specifically for the public transportation and automotive industry, founded in 1969 by Herbert Kneitz GemsbH. In 1989, the company started focusing completely on interior fabrics for the European and Asian automotive industry. Since then the company changed its approach and no longer manufacturers plain knitted and raschel machine knitted fabrics; instead, the company invested in additional flat weaving and velour machines. Now independent since leaving its parent company in 2002, it continues to grow. In the twenty-first century, it establishes itself as a premium supplier flat weaves and moquettes for the market.

We are proud to be the UK Distributer for this world premium brand. We distribute all Kneitz products and Moquettes and supply 10,000s of metres of moquette and flat weaves a year.

Moquettes are now used throughout the the world of Coaches, Buses and Railways as it provides such an excellent longevity. We even supply material to many major companies, including Stagecoach, National Express, Arriva, Go Ahead, Transdev, Veolia just to name a few, all use Moquettes in their buses and coaches.
